Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Spring Learning Collaborative

Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Learning Collaborative: Session 3

This learning collaborative on sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) is free to attend and is aimed toward anyone in Oregon who is interested in learning more about SOGI data collection, analysis, and reporting prior to the Rulemaking Advisory Committee (RAC) on House Bill 3159.

House Bill 3159 requires the Oregon Health Authority to:

  • Add SOGI questions to the current data collection standards in OHA Oregon Administrative Rules,

  • Build a data collection system for both REALD and SOGI,

  • Develop and implement reporting requirements (including rulemaking) for provider health plan reporting, and

  • Create a grant program to help community partners and community-based organizations serving underrepresented populations report this data.

This is a series of three interactive educational sessions held online via Zoom. You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you like.

  • Session 1: Understanding Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity

  • Session 2: Using SOGI Data to Support Positive Health Outcomes for Sex & Gender Minority Patients

  • Session 3: Using SOGI Data to Support Positive Health Outcomes for Sexual Minority Patients

An application will be filed with AAFP for CME, which will be offered at no cost to participants.
