Understanding Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity (SOGI) to Improve Patient Health

Join us as we explore a variety of topics essential to Two Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (2SLGBTQ+) populations. We will discuss why Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) matters, creating inclusive environments, and identifying systems-level interventions to support practice change. Clinicians and support staff will be provided with the knowledge, language, and tools necessary to improve health outcomes and address health disparities experienced by the 2SLGBTQ+ populations.

This session is open to anyone who wishes to attend. It is geared toward a clinical audience.

CME through AAFP is available at no cost to attendees. Beverages and light snacks provided.
